July 06 Up too early Hi everyone, Didn't sleep good tonite. My arm's have been bothering me. My fibromyalgia gives me fit's sometimes. Gosh, sometimes it seems like I complain way too much on my "hotmail" space. sorry
 ! SOOOOO...I'll find something else to talk about. I've had a break from all the noise lately. My step-daughter and her children are visiting there relatives in California. They've been gone since June 25th. And they won't be back until the 11th !! It's been just me my husband and our 2 kid's here. sooooooooooooooooo nice! They will be moving permanently in October. Hooray !!!!!
 She and I both are looking forward to that. My kid's however are really close to her kid's. They want us to live together forever. NOT GONNA HAPPEN     LOL OK...there you go, my good new's for today. I'll find some more for next time.  Alicia July 03 Fourth of July !Hi everyone,
 Happy Birthday USA...How are all of you doing? Not alot here. Just doing what I can with this banged up foot. Darn thing is driving me crazy. I still can't be on it for too long. About 15 or 20 minutes top's. And that's with the walking cast. However, I am glad I get to take it off while I'm sleeping. Having one that was permenant would really be a headache and a 1/2. When I try to do the dishes or cook dinner, the other foot that I'm putting most of my weight on, goes numb. So needless to say, my house is a MESS...I do get my dishes done once a day, and a couple of loads of laundry (which my 5 year old son helps me scoot to and from the laundry room). He's the one I went running to rescue when I broke my heel. He loves to help. I just think it's sooooooo cute! Even doing dishes he want's to get a chair and be right there beside me. But he get's water on the floor. So especially now he can't help, I can't take another fall. We're gonna stay home this weekend. Grill steaks, corn on the cob, cherry pie, watermelon and a few other things I might think of. We'll probably go down the street to the Community College for fireworks. Unfortunately it's too dangerous for much travel. Drunk driver's and all.

How is everyone. I hope better than me. I fell last week and injured my right foot. Here's what happened. My 5 year old son start's screaming and from the sound of it I knew he had really hurt himself. I then go running down the hall to get to him as quickly as I could and 'popped something' in my foot. It was the worst pain I've had since giving birth to my two children. I am now on crutches!! I've never in my life been on crutches. How do you work those things anyway? LOL Oh my gosh, sometimes you just gotta laugh to get from day to day. I see my foot doctor tommorow, I'll blog as soon as I get a chance to let you know how it goes. I'm up early this morning. I have a doctor's appoinment so I thought I'd get up early and spend some time on the computer. Once the kid's get up I have to bribe them to get any time on it.
LOL We bought the kid's a swimming pool 2 week's ago.  They have tan's now. And there hair has beautiful high-lites. Both of them have dirty blonde hair. So the high-lites really show up. We're spending lot's of time outdoor's. The kid's swim. Then in the evenings they catch lighting bug's and race through the back yard. I taught them how to play Red Rover, Red Rover let __name____ come over. And, Kick the Can. Me and my cousin's played those games forever when we we're kid's. Bring's back memories of good times. I have to keep them active. As I said earlier, these day's I have to pry them away from the sedintary activities   (computer's and games............guitar hero is my favorite) Yes I play them too. My husband has been to many doctor's lately.
 Weight loss has been unsucessful for both he and I. So we have come to the decision that weight loss surgery is the answer. However during the process of preparing for surgery, it was discovered that he has some abnormal result's concerning his heart. So seeing a cardiologist is the next step. As for me, my health is still the same. (not great) A struggle from day to day with my fibromyalgia. That new medication Lyrica is helping alot.
"I have a question" My chocolate lab is 3 1/2 year's old. He has severe pain in his back hip's. He is 105 pound's. I have had him on every weight loss dogfood available. He is an indoor dog. get's mild exercise outside. Love's to play with kid's running, etc. I keep his portion's of food to exactly what is recommended. (maybe a vet could give him a rx dogfood, I don't know if that is available, but if it is that's my next step). Any one have another suggestion. I would love to hear them?

Man, spring cleaning is a...
 ..#%?@<&*>...You know how you have to get in and clean the dust bunnies out from under the bed's and cobwebs out of the corners, shampoo the carpets? Stuff that is just really "HARD" work. Then the next thing you do (or at least me) is to open window's and doors in the house. Air it all out good and proper....It certainly helps get rid of the cold virus's, stomach flu's, junk and gunk that has built up over the winter. Sooooooooooo... spring has arrived ! Good to see it. We didn't have but maybe an inch of snow over the winter, But, we did have the really bad ice storm in December. Over 1/2 of the state of Oklahoma was without power all at the same time. Seriously!! Over 500,000 people. We had 3 1/2 days without electric here at home. The first day and 1/2 was really fun .....lighting the fireplace, roasting marshmallows and hotdog's, cooking in a cast iron skillet. Right there over the open flames. Then..........you start to miss TV, or being able to sit with a small lamp and work a crossword puzzle in the evenings, turning on a stereo ( CD ) for some good music. Talk about getting bored. We played lot's of games during the day time but then when evening came it was nothing but little candles. Anyway.....I feel like I'm rambling (probably cuz I am). Sometimes I just need an outlet. Having a 13 year old with her friends wanting to be here at my home, (not her going to theirs). Everybody loves "my" home. That's a good thing and a bad thing. You know you're home is inviting and every one feels welcome, but when you have to set a limit on the length of time they can be here, it just breaks their hearts.... BUT, since my step-daughter works weekends (when the teens want to be here) and my husband has worked quite a few 12 hour day's and sleeps in the evenings (when the teens want to be here). I'm the one that has to listen to the teens and the younger kid's (7,6 & 5) argue because the teens want to do stuff by themselves, not wanting to include the younger kid's. And then... the youngerkid's pouting and crying with their feelings getting hurt...That's when I say ENOUGH! Go home and don't come back for at least 3 days. Oh...my...gosh. There I go again, rambling. It actually helps to sit at the computer, blog and chat for a while. Get it all out, so I can do it all again the next day...Whew!! There, I'm all done. I feel so much better. Thanks for listening. Hope to here from ya'll...Plan for tomorrow...? Absolutely nothing. Just kidding. I have some tomato plant's and watermelon to plant. That's another thing I enjoy. Gardening. My husband will literally go out and look to see how much they grow every day. (actually I do that too!)

!#&*. Oh man. I've definitely done to much this weekend. I cleaned out all of the closets and took a car load of stuff to Goodwill. I certainly feel better about my closet's . You walk in, see everything that's in there and can get to it without "STRAAAAINING" too much! BUT my muscles really feel it. ooooooooooooohh Oh well, that just means I can rest today(yeah,right). I have had a couple of busy days...And...guess what! I have had good ones, (love it when that happens). They are coming around often these days.  I have had so much pain for so long, that I really am noticing a difference in how I get thru my day. For example. I was standing at a check-out line in walmart 2 days ago.................. I had been there for 4 1/2 hours. And I was feeling OK. I know, I know, how can anyone spend that much time at Walmart. Well, here's how.... you go in, put your truck in for an oil change. And then go to the nail salon for a new set of nails. A little treat for mom. Now ladies. You know how it is when you've had your nails on for a couple of months, they need to be taken off and a new set put on. This takes about an hour. Then you go and shop for about $200.00 worth of "stuff" for everyone in my family. If you will recall I have 7 people in my home at the current time. And with a 13 year old, her friends are always over at the house, it gets EXPENSIVE !!!! Anyway you get your stuff , this has taken another hour. Then you are getting to the front of the store and...OH MY GOSH...you forgot it was the 3rd of the month. Everyone in all of ...Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA... is in line. At least 6 people in each cashiers line. And ALL of them (just like me) have buggies that are full to the top. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........I am standing in line for another 1/2 hour.............. By golly, I am finally there. The cashier has rung up everything and I pull out my "little plastic card" and OH MY HOLY JESUS I have somehow gotten my husbands bank card instead of mine in my wallet. "No idea how that happened" Well being that the amount is...large...she wants to check my ID. Needless to say. She won't except the card for payment. Which I'm glad she's doing her job, just wish "I" hadn't been the one out of this line of people that I've been standing in that has her husbands card. I go over to the ATM .........and check this out..."no service available".....now remember I have my truck in for an oil change. So guess what happens next...I have a manager that I am talking to in the auto department. Telling him I need to take my truck to an ATM to get cash. He wants me to have my husband come to the store to approve the purchase. That would have worked except for the fact that my step-daughter was working so there wasn't a spare vehicle for him to get to Walmart. Finally after another 30 minutes. The manager let's me take the truck and go get cash. Again I am fighting traffic, because it's the 3rd of the month. Another 30 minutes goes by. I get back to walmart, pay for the oil change, go to the front to pick up my buggy and being that it is after 9:00 o'clock thay have shut down some of the registers. In the super Walmart that we have here, they do that. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..I am standing in line again. They would have been able to suspend the transaction but because I had my truck in for an oil change, it wouldn't suspend. So they had to abort the whole purchase earlier. Standing in line again, another 1/2 hour. I pay for my stuff. Another 15 minutes to get all this stuff in the car. Another 15 minutes to drive home................ I'm home and practically kissing the driveway as I pull in. So glad to be home.!!!! There you have it . 4 1/2 hours at Walmart. OMG. Grant it I was really tired  when I finally did get home. But I wasn't hurting very much. So how are you guys doing...any 4 1/2 hour shopping trips out there...I didn't think so. March 28 Been in for repair again...Hi everyone.......I've had my computer in for repair again. We had a great Easter Weekend. Lot's of CANDY ! Spent the whole day at my brother's house. The kids rode 4 wheelers, jumped on the trampoline, played softball and of course had the massive Easter egg hunt. Hope all is well...Alicia March 21 Happy EasterHello again...Happy Easter !!!!! Gonna be busy this weekend. Starting with today. Getting ready for the big weekend. I have 4 sister's and 1 brother. So when we all get together there's about 27 people. I didn't realize it had been so long since I blogged. My computer
was being repaired for a few days. Let's see.....what's new! I had a few days of just me, my hubby, & the kids. I've got 3 adults & 4 kids living in my house (just helping out my step-daughter & her 2 adorable kids for a while). It is quite alot of work...sometimes I go hide.
He..he..he! LOL Anyway, Cori (my step-daughter) and her kids went to visit family for a couple of days. Oh yes !!! The best news of all lately. My step-daughter got a car. Finally!!! I don't have to drive her to work anymore. I still take all the kids to school and such. (soccer mom stuff) But it allows me a little more "me" time. It's spring break this week. So I get a break too!  maybe...ya'll know how a mom's job is never done. But I have enjoyed having the kids home. We've had great weather...Splendilicious I've been feeling very good physically too, it helps to be able to do stuff with kids outside & not have alot of pain to deal with. I woke up this morning feeling quite good. Been a long time since that has happened. I do have one "teensy weensy" pain....I think I slept on my arm wrong a couple of night's ago.My muscle is sore. But...hey...if that's all the aches and pains I wake up with,...I'm jumping for joy!
Got lot's of housework to do........Laundry
...vacumming...then I have to go clean out the kids room, especially the CLOSET...my kid's pick there room everyday, but ya know how every once in a while ya gotta go in and do an extra "super duper" cleaning! Things are good today. Just got back from taking my husband to work...I sometimes use this time for catching up on stuff. And it's FRIDAY...gotta love those Friday's. A couple of days where I don't have to be a chaffeur.........I say that cause' here's how my day usually goes :::
1--take my husband to work
2--take the kids to school
3--take my step-daughter to work
4--take my son and my 'step' grandson to pre-k
5--pick up all the kids from school
6--pick up my husband from work
7--pick up my step-daughter from work
And with gas prices the way they are...GOLLY GEEEEZZE!!

My appointment went good. There is no severe arthritis signs. Some minor indications..........I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Which can be controlled with meds, rest, activity and of course a positive attitude. I can't over-do it in any of those areas. (EXCEPT for the positive attitude of course, every body needs one of those.) I saw my family this weekend. My nephew had a birthday.....everyone had a wonderful time..my family lives about 85 miles from me so it's a real treat when I get to go see them. With kids and all the (wonderful) stuff that mom's have to do every day I just don't get to see them as often as I would like........  .catch ya'll later... I have about 1&1/2 hours of sleep since Tuesday morning around 5:00 am.........I got some bad news from my doctors office. I've been having severe joint and muscle pain for about a month. This pain has progressed from (approximately) the last year or so. But it got so bad here lately I went in to talk to my doctor about it, and she did some blood work. Then she called me Tuesday and said there was some abnormal stuff going on. I have to see a rheumatologist on Friday morning. I'm 39 years old and I need to see a rheumatologist? I don't like the sound of that. Oh lordy that scares me. But...I do have "some?" good news! My husband I went shopping yesterday and got some household stuff we've been needing. Like a new VACUMM and a new MICROWAVE and a set of BUNKBEDS for the kids!! YAAY! momma has a new vacumm, baby!!!!!!!! I have been needing one for a good while.Let's see what other good news can I think of to help me not think about this rheumatolgist I have to see. HHMMMMM. I've got it! I have a wonderful family. Two beautiful children (check out my photo albums and see for yourself ). A stepdaughter that is wonderful (when we're not pulling each other's hair out ) LOL...just kiddin.......I also have a wonderful husband who means the world to me. And I to him. My daughter's 7th birthday was yesterday.
I let her pick out everything she wanted for decorations. After shopping we came home with Hannah Montana, Cinderella, and Dora the explorer. It was so much fun watching her be so excited throughout the whole day!I'm not doing very well on my "challenge" to lose weight.
I start out everyday really good then after about 1:00 it all goes downhill. I just need to make that effort carry over into the evenings when all I want is .... ....... I love being able to vote. * * *It makes me feel, I guess you could say (important) . I don't know it just feels good. It's raining here today.  Suppose to turn to snow this afternoon. That's good snoozing and cuddling weather.  !! Now I'm organizing and filing. My husband finished our taxes so I'm putting all the stuff away (reciepts) etc. What else for taday. Watch some TV. I cleaned house spic & span yesterday so today I get a little bit of a break. Won't last long though with 4 kids in our house. Busy, busy, busy!!Take Care Ya'll !! Alicia
