27 September Extra kids anyone.... !Hi guys.....had some of the kids friends over this weekend. And a couple of them spent the night. Oh boy? So much fun! If you recall, we had 7 living here a few months ago. Now that it's just us 4 here (me, my husband and our 2 kids) I can enjoy having a few friends over. Before it was just too much work... We had a back yard extravaganza. Hot dogs, mac and cheese, and pizza. What more could a kid want? We had the dogs out there with us. My chocolate lab just loves to be right smack in the middle of the kids. The yellow lab mix that we have gets a little nervous. But he's OK. When he's had enough he sits over to the side and watches. The adults had a few drinks. Sat and talked, and talked, and talked, and talked some more. Everyone left out about 12:00 midnight.
Today it's shopping for some new school clothes. My kids are needing some fall clothes. The summer clothes are to thin for the changing weather we're having. And then of course there's the old dreaded grocery trip to walmart. Aarrrggghhh :( !!!!!
Ya'll have a good day..or is it...Have a good day ya'll? Oh well, whatever.............

 23 September An internet moment...of fit throwing!! :)Ok.....
I need a little help...?...I set down at the computer 10 minutes ago. I wanted to check my e-mail, my hotmail space, and surf the web just-a-little bit. The kids had both been on for 45 minutes each. So I told them it was time for a bath and afterwards it was my turn on the computer......OK......I'm sitting here now after only being on the internet for 10 minutes and my son comes in leaning on my shoulder asking me if he could get back on the computer? I said no,'it is my turn'...so he proceed's to crawl over the back of the chair I'm sitting in. Wants to sit on the edge of the desk and watch me. Which is usually fine, I have let him do this from time to time. I tell him "I just want to sit here by myself this time". He starts wining and begs me. After a couple minutes of this I tell him, 'he will be grounded from the computer if he doesn't go play for a while'. (he had learned a new game & wanted to play again) Now, just to let you know, we have done several things together today. He loves drawing so he ask me to draw a train. I did. He wanted to do water-color painting. So we did. He wasn't starving for attention or anything...I just wanted a little while on the computer. Besides, we have lot's of mail piled up on the desk here so I needed to work on that too.:) And I had been telling them all day that after dinner and bath's it was my turn, because I hadn't been on for a few days. So it's not like he didn't know I needed the computer. Any way...just kids being kids but I think if I do this every day for a while they'll know it's my turn and not to fuss with me.
Besides I am "THE BOSS" :) yeah...right... :)

16 September Typical Tuesday...Hi Guys,
Tuesday got us going. My husband walked my daughter to school. He's been home from work for a while. He had surgery last Tuesday. And it's 4 blocks to her school so that's perfect for him. Not too long. He's an early riser so he's up and fixing breakfast before I even know it. He helps me alot as long as he's able.
And then there's house work to do today.................

Been a while. My computer has been down. I need to get an upgrade.
Any way...I thought I'd take a few minutes to say HI !!
 I've been very busy with the kid's. School and everything that goes along with it. If you recall, my step-daughter and her 2 kids had been living with us. Well, guess what? The house is mine again.............ALL MINE !!!!!
 I love it. It's kind of late in the evening here, soooooo I better go for now. Mom needs her rest
