24 July Hi.....Hi guy's,
 How is everyone? I'm doing OK. My foot is better. I use my crutches in the evening occasionally. My walking boot I use if I have a lot of errands or house cleaning I need to do. The doc says everything looks fine. It sure has been hot here lately. A few days of 100' degree weather. More to come. And here in Oklahoma it's very humid. It's like the air is heavy and hot at the same time. We spend time in the pool and inside with AC. However, in the evenings we venture out a little. At least until the mosquito's start biting. I love spring and fall. I think most people do.

OK.....you guessed it, it's my birthday! I'm 40. And I think it's great!! I have always looked forward to my birthday's ( guess I'm kinda weird that way ) . Could be that everyone always tells me I look younger than I am. I get that from my mom. She looks younger than she is. She had me at age 16. Things were so different in the late 60's. I think about the vast difference from one generation to the next. I wonder what things will be like in 40 more years. I'll be 80 and telling my grandkid's about CD's, DVD's, computers, cell phones and all these other gadget's we have now day's. Crazy huh?

My foot is OK. Doctor says there's no further injury. I just got a little too confident, trying to do too much, when I shouldn't have. And yet I have quite a bit to do today. I'll have to spread it out over the next several day's.

I wrote it down and tucked it in a drawer. I have kept a few inspirational
quotes that I've heard from time to time because I like to do needlepoint.
And I like the idea of having quotes to hang on the wall.
 ((((( Lately I have been complaining too much. ))))) So today I wanted to blog an inspirational quote. Couldn't think of one
off the top of my head so I went to the trusty old drawer. I found this quote
and honestly it was a lightbulb moment.
 BOOM! I have been setting myself up for failure because I 'thought' I couldn't lose the weight .
I do have to get my feet fixed first!

7 July Afternoon.................Afternoon all,
Doing good today. I decided I needed to stay off my foot for a few days. It was just getting worse. I'm afraid I've reinjured it.
Seems like it hurts more than a week ago. Especially if I try to keep up with my house-work and cooking, I just can't do it. I am kinda tired of microwaved food, oven baked food and take out (those are the easiest). Anyway I see the speciallist again on Wednesday..................Later Gator,  OOPS..........gotta find good news? Ummmm...My friend is back from her trip to Arkansas. I've missed my e-mail buddy! :)   6 July Up too earlyHi everyone, Didn't sleep good tonite. My arm's have been bothering me. My fibromyalgia gives me fit's sometimes. Gosh, sometimes it seems like I complain way too much on my "hotmail" space. sorry
 ! SOOOOO...I'll find something else to talk about. I've had a break from all the noise lately. My step-daughter and her children are visiting there relatives in California. They've been gone since June 25th. And they won't be back until the 11th !! It's been just me my husband and our 2 kid's here. sooooooooooooooooo nice! They will be moving permanently in October. Hooray !!!!!
She and I both are looking forward to that. My kid's however are really close to her kid's. They want us to live together forever. NOT GONNA HAPPEN    LOL OK...there you go, my good new's for today. I'll find some more for next time. Alicia 3 July Fourth of July !Hi everyone,
 Happy Birthday USA...How are all of you doing? Not alot here. Just doing what I can with this banged up foot. Darn thing is driving me crazy. I still can't be on it for too long. About 15 or 20 minutes top's. And that's with the walking cast. However, I am glad I get to take it off while I'm sleeping. Having one that was permenant would really be a headache and a 1/2. When I try to do the dishes or cook dinner, the other foot that I'm putting most of my weight on, goes numb. So needless to say, my house is a MESS...I do get my dishes done once a day, and a couple of loads of laundry (which my 5 year old son helps me scoot to and from the laundry room). He's the one I went running to rescue when I broke my heel. He loves to help. I just think it's sooooooo cute! Even doing dishes he want's to get a chair and be right there beside me. But he get's water on the floor. So especially now he can't help, I can't take another fall. We're gonna stay home this weekend. Grill steaks, corn on the cob, cherry pie, watermelon and a few other things I might think of. We'll probably go down the street to the Community College for fireworks. Unfortunately it's too dangerous for much travel. Drunk driver's and all.
