29 October Out at night.....beautifulHi everyone,
We had so much fun this last weekend. My brother has a home in the country. I mean 'boondocks'...literally. It's 30 acres with a long drive-way and a pond in the front that you drive by as you make your way to his home. A huge open field that is always neatly mowed, the lawn is mowed around the pond too. He is putting in a dock. And yes, he has fish. We go out during the summer and play softball.....BUT this weekend, being that it's close to halloween, we had a hayride. We invited the people from work, church, friends and family from everywhere. I'll give you 1 guess as to how many showed up...........94...........!!
 The kids went on the first 2 hayrides and then it was 'the big kid's' turn. You got it. The adults. We sat on the hay-bales talked about how many times we used to do this. Then I looked up and there were stars for as far as I coud see. It was a night that was as clear as I had ever seen. There was very little wind. About 57* degrees, so all we needed was a heavy sweat shirt or jacket. It was so perfect. The stars were beautiful. I got dizzy from looking at them for so long. Every one left about 11:30. I stayed over at my brothers. It's too far for me to drive home at that hour. I live 85 miles away and it takes me 1 hour and 20 minutes, so I just can't do it when it's that late. I've got to go for now, just wanted to say HI, and tell you how much I enjoyed God's wonderful night sky.
